Elenora

Welcome to the Elenora site. This place is here on the web to chronicle the progress of a brand new point and clicky type adventure game staged in late Victorian London. The overall mood aims to be deeply gothic but with humorous and family safe puzzles and dialogues.
The scenery is all being rendered in beautiful techni-colour 3D to help slip you effortlessly into the fantasy. The characters are designed along the lines of illustrators such as Edgar Gorey and Quintin Blake. (or at least they were on paper anyway).
Coming soon? I can't lie to you. I'd feel just awful if I let you go away thinking that. The game is kind of my pet project and as such is being worked on in my spare time. The upside to this is that when it does actually reach completion, (I estimate about a year and a bit), it shall be completely free!
There will be a demo level available for your download and prestidigitation before too long however. It will feature the whole first level to the game, about 11 rooms or so and several rather challenging puzzles! It will materialize once I've sorted out some henious problems I've been having with pallette transparency in the sprites.
For the time being though, you can use the links above to meet some of the characters, check out the scenery or even visit some amazing sites which are recommended personally by yours truely!
The technical development notes follow for anybody who's into that kind of thing...
